Sometimes I try out a new craft and get stuck with some fiddly bit or have no idea how to apply the goo I bought and then I search for the answer online. Very frequently, the craft videos on eHow comes to my rescue. The search function is exhaustive, you can search for keywords, authors, skill levels or rating and filter the results to show video or text articles. The videos I have watched were all of a very good quality and informative. Enjoy!

Saturday Craft Site - Tastebook
This isn't really a craft site, but it's a goodie. I love collecting recipes and have a couple of favourites that I can always rely on. I'm sure you have some too. Betterrecipes.com offers a Tastebook feature that allows you to make up a beautiful personal recipe book that they will print and send to you for a fee. I have not had one printed yet, but I have created a Tastebook of recipes I'd like to try out. You can view your Tastebook online and add recipes to it very easily. I had a lot of fun compiling my book and "paging" through it online. For the craftiest among us, Tastebook can serve as inspiration for creating your own recipe book.

Tuesday Flickr Favourites
1. panda*party, 2. geometry, 3. Seeds of Love, 4. It's easy being a cat
For this week's Flickr Favourites, I chose images from my contacts' galleries. Except for the cat - that is my cat, Neo, from my personal Flickr account. To participate in this blog game, visit ArtMind's blog!

Saturday Craft Site - Knitty
Knitters with internet access are very fortunate. Buying knitting patterns at a store will cost you a bundle and there is no need to do so with the variety of free patterns available online. One of the first sites I discovered when I started browsing for knitting patterns was Knitty. There are some really incredible patterns suited to every type of knitter, from beginners to advanced knitters.
Happy knitting!

CatacombsOfLondon on Etsy
CatacombsOfLondon on Etsy sells Gothic orientated pendants, earrings, hair clips etc.
It is a style that I really like... and had I been a woman, I would've purchased one of each item by now.
What got my attention however, was this Razor Pendant, made famous by the Texan born guitarist, Dimebag Darrell (1966 - 2004).
I will definitely be purchasing one of these!

Kandyskadoll on Etsy
Kandyskadoll on Etsy sells these beautiful pendants which resemble harlequin masks.
I really like them although they seem so sad....

TickettyBoo on Etsy
What a great shop! All the colours TickettyBoo uses are beautiful, soft and gentle. I like the blues and grays and even the pinks don't offend! (I'm not big on pink.)
The last picture is of a doorstopper. How pretty!

Flickr Favourites
1. Color Addict, 2. All the Colours You Need, 3. Colored Pencils, 4. taking a bubbles bath
When I was at school, I would get a new pack of 36 Colleen pencils every year. I loved those pencils. When you opened the new pack, they were arranged in groups of 6, with the colours beautifully arranged, like a rainbow. I hated giving out my pencils to other people, because they would put them back in the wrong place or cause the cardboard container to bunch up by wedging a pencil in an already full "compartment". To this day, my heart starts beating wildly with "I want-ness" when I see sharp new pencils. I don't like sharpening them, though, I like my pencils to all be the same length!
I haven't been participating in ArtMind's Flickr Favourites game these past couple of weeks, simply because I am on holiday and have lost track of the days. Usually on Wednesdays I remember that I need to post...anyway, if you would like to join in, do so on ArtMind's blog!

Saturday Craft Site - STYROFOAM Crafts
The items we sell on Etsy are made out of Styrofoam. I really enjoy working with it. Styrofoam is best cut with a hot wire, which melts the polystyrene, creating a smooth edge. STYROFOAM Crafts has tons of ideas for crafts using the material. Click on Projects to see what you can make.
Of course you don't have to cut it, you can use the ready made balls and cubes sold in all craft shops.
